This week was transfer week. I'm happy to report that Sister Mendez and I are staying together for another 6 weeks! This means we have Halloween and Thanksgiving together, so excited! But we sadly had to send Sister Limón (one of our roomies) home to AZ today :( we already miss her so much We got to usher for Music and the Spoken Word this week. It was seriously so amazing and everyone needs to go back and watch it. After the recording ended the choirs continued to sing for 30 minutes and everything sounded beautiful.  We've made it a goal to get to know all the senior couples more and this week we went to the Goolds. Between Sister Goolds love for chocolate, Elder Goolds ability to have many amazing talents and their phones constantly going off as loud as possible I felt like I was at my grandparents house. Hey hey just another week loving being a missionary! It's honestly such a privledge to serve as an instrument in the Lords hands. No place I'd rather be than our almost square mile.  My favorite senior couple left this week which is so sad.  On Sunday night  we had a party at their apartment and it felt like a college party but with youth album songs of course haha. Sad to see them go but also so excited to get closer to the new senior couples in the mission. I feel like I don't talk about my companion enough. She's from Upstate New York (utika) and reps the Dominican Republic flag because that's where her parents are from. She's seriously one of the funniest people I've ever met and I'm constantly laughing when she's around. Sis Mendez is an angel and has made this last month fly by. MISSIONARIES send me all your favorite Grey dots!! I just need their name and city. (Preferably english) we have seen lots of success from contacting Grey dots recently and ran out of our own.  We have a friend that wants to get baptized but doesn't have any Spanish missionaries or a Spanish ward nearby. So we're bummed about that but excited to keep teaching him online and praying they send some Spanish speaking missionaries to Michigan.  This week we had some SLC central Elders try to street contact right outside temple square. Lowkey so unfortunate because that's the only "proselyting" we get. I don't think they saw great success in their efforts though because after 3 hours and no new contacts they did not come back. We had a mission tour this week so Elder Taylor came and spoke to us. He talked a lot about eternal companions 😬 but he also talked about the scriptures. He told us to open the mouth of God (the scriptures) in every interaction. So I'm go...

Some of you accidentally got a sneak peak to this email on Sunday haha oops  First things first, send me all your favorite easy, healthy recipes. Preferably the least amount of ingredients needed bc we're balling on a mission budget. I'm officially jealous of every other missionary because they actually get to watch conference while we run around trying to eat super fast before getting back to our assignment and hopefully listen to the last talk of each session. But at the same time the night before conference is like the night before prom here. Everyone is picking out dresses, painting nails, fake tanning, getting their hair done etc. And it's so fun hahah. I also saw so many people I know including my brother which was a good surprise! We may or may not have gotten on TV before and after the  sunday afternoon  session of conference so we're basically famous.
