Big News!!

Hey hey!! Some of you may know I've been dealing with almost constant headaches/migraines since returning to Salt Lake. After trying lots of medications and much contemplation between me, my mission president and medical professionals we decided being healthy was more important than staying on my mission. So I'm coming home tomorrow,  Thursday December 21, at 9:20 am  to John Wayne airport. I'd love to see you all there!! Feel free to text my mom just incase my flight changes. Something I said when deciding to go back out on my mission was "I will only go if I know I'm going to give it my all" and that's what I did. I got up day after day, put my tag on and pushed through the pain for 14 weeks. But after a certain point I was no longer being an effective missionary. It's heartbreaking to see a dream slowly slip away but the Lord has a cool way of guiding us to where we need to be. I have no clue what the future looks like from here but I'm excited ...

Transfers!

Another 6 weeks has flown by on the mission which means transfers!! My new companion is Sister Pale from Samoa! Everybody says she loves cooking and eats good so pray I don't gain 10 pounds. We've already bonded over our love for the beach. My first companion, Sister MacKillop, is now my district leader so I'm excited to go on exchanges with her! I also have Wednesday p day, blessings. We got to usher for the First Presidency Christmas devotional, seriously so fortunate (its like a battle to get tickets for that thing) When President Nelson got wheeled in you almost wanted to clap because we were so excited to see him in a meeting for the first time in so long. I recently finished the Book of Mormon and 3 words kept standing out to me. They are "except ye repent." No matter how long the verse is it says "except ye repent."
