So Much Snow
Happy Monday, it snowed so much here this past week. I'm actually so grateful for the snow because it brings people to Utah and a lot of them stop by temple Square. And temple Square covered in snow is a different type of pretty (pictures below)
We met the coolest guy this week who is coming back to church. He bought his own scriptures with his name engraven on them (which is pretty significant for a broke college kid) and is so excited to someday be able to enter the temple and feel the peace that everybody talks about. It was cool to see how excited he was to be on the straight and narrow path again. I was reminded of how exciting it is to live a worthy lifestyle to be able to enter the temple and teach people so they can enter as well.
Also this sweet elderly couple that just got done serving their mission in Wasatch Valley taught us how to say "I love you" in Swahili (nakupenda) they were super cute and both started crying while talking about the gospel.
Everybody asks what I do everyday so I made a day in the life that you can watch on my photo album, you may also hear my missionary voice come out every once in awhile😳: https://photos.app.goo.gl/gMQcSXmRqWsZ31n89Something that we talked about during zone council this week was answers to prayers. One thing that was interesting to me was when someone said we should be grateful when we don't get an answer to a prayer. At first I was like bruv why would you ever be grateful for that but then I realized that it's the lord trusting you. It's so cool to think that he knows me and trusts me to make that decision. I know that the lord knows each and everyone of you individually, he loves you perfectly and trusts you so much!I love you all!!<3 sista Jones
