Hay Naku

If you're at conference on saturday I may or may not be in the balcony auditorium sections 3-9 for all three sessions. Sadly I don't get to attend on Sunday but I'll be around square.

This week we gave an amazing tour to a woman from croatia. We all eneded the tour in tears because the spirit was so strong. It was my first tour since being back so I was nervous but it went so well, the Holy Ghost really carried. This isnt the important part but we got her contact info to hopefully continue to teach her online! 

We got to go to mutual dell as a zone this week! Its a campsite that the church owns so we go on a hike, roast hotdogs after and hang out. I'm definitely not used to the elevation yet but still made it up the steep hike and back down. Honestly so fun to be in nature and hike 7 miles even with a fat blister on the back of my foot haha. 

Sister Mendez speaks Spanish so we have done so many Spanish tours this week. I don't even try to respond in Spanish because I sound so white but I can understand it pretty well. Señora Unzueta would be proud haha. 

We saw lots of general authority wives, members of the 70 and members of general presidencys this week. They are all super nice and just love missionaries. 

This weekend we have an amazing opportunity to listen to the leaders of our Church. They're also speaking in the building I serve in everyday! To watch go to thechurchofjesuschrist.org on saturday and sunday.

Something I have been thinking about a lot recently is Enoch. When he got his call to serve he felt inadequate and thought no one would listen. Like Enoch, I many times have felt inadequate especially when deciding to come back to temple square. But like Enoch, overtime as I have been here I have been able to rely on the Lord and fulfill my calling. 
My sweet friend bailey shared this scripture with me this week and it was just what I needed. Its D&C 90:24 and it says, "Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all things shall work together for your good, if ye walk uprightly and remember the covenant wherewith ye have covenanted one with another.”

First and Last Member Meal

Happy Thanksgiving!! Thanksgiving, p day and our only member meal of the mission all in 1 day, sorry if I don't respond.  There's nothing Utahns dislike more than California. Everyday this week I've had someone go on a rant about how much they don't like CA. I might start telling people I'm from AZ or something just to avoid the shade being thrown. Jk I'll always claim Orange County. They all make a point to say how much they like Disney and Newport though.  The Christmas lights turn on tomorrow! I think we are more excited about that than we are actual Christmas. This also means that our schedule changes  from 6:30-10:30   to   7:30-11:30.   But church and relief society still   start at 7:45  on Sundays and Wednesdays so pray for us and our lack of sleep. I'm gonna be honest Thanksgiving is probably my least favorite holiday. I don't eat a ton of food, I'm not a fan of pie, stuffing or yams but I love the attitude of being grateful. Gratitu...
