No Hablo Espanol

I came across this poem this week and felt I needed to share. I hope you enjoy <3

"Last night I had a dream,

It took my breath away.

It's something I have longed for, 

And hoped would happen someday.

The Savior stood beside me,

He wiped away my tears.

He told me all my secrets,

And he told me all my fears.

He told me all that's promised,

If I stay more than this year.

Then he started crying,

As he whispered in my ear.

He told me he feels the pain,

Of the weight put on my shoulders.

It's a heavy burden to hold,

One compared to boulders.

He told me of the weight he bore,

That night in Gethsemane.

Then he told me softly,

That he did it all for me.

I sat there and cried,

As he told me all my sorrows.

He told me that he knows,

For it's the pain he borrows.

I asked him why he doesn't,

Just take it all away.

Then he told me gently,

It will all make sense someday.

He wrapped me in his arms,

He hugged me oh so tight.

It was in that moment, 

I knew everything would be alright.

He pulled away slowly,

He told me he had to go.

Oh to be understood,

I can now say I truly know."
